Dr. Nancy DiLiegro, FACHE, is the Chief Clinical Officer and Vice President of Clinical Operations and Physician Services at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Trinitas is a 554 bed urban teaching facility offering full service healthcare including psychiatric and long term care services. Prior to joining Trinitas, Dr. DiLiegro served as Corporate Director of Pharmacy and Nutrition for Our Lady of Mercy Healthcare System in the Bronx, New York.
Dr. DiLiegro earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from St. John’s University, a Master of Science degree in Pharmacy Administration from St. John’s University, a Master of Public Administration degree in Healthcare Administration from Long Island University and a PhD in Healthcare Administration from Kennedy Western University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is Board certified in Healthcare Management. Nancy is a licensed pharmacist and a fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Nancy is affiliated with numerous National and Regional organizations.
She is currently serving on the Board of Governors for the American College of Healthcare Executives and as a Board member on the Founders Affiliate Board of the American Heart Association. She served as Presidential Officer for the Board of the American College of Healthcare Executives – New Jersey. Dr. DiLiegro also served as Regent for Northern New Jersey for the ACHE. Nancy is a Board member of the American Heart Association where she served as chair for four years. Nancy is on the Board of the Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce. Dr. DiLiegro is a member of the following advisory Boards: Seton Hall University MHA, the Berkley College Health Services, the Centenary College MHA and MBA programs and the Union County Academy for Allied Health Sciences. She is also an Adjunct Professor in Healthcare Administration at Seton Hall University.
Dr. DiLiegro’s professional committee appointments include the New Jersey Hospital Association Healthcare Reform Committee for Workforce and Patient Safety, NJHA Teaching Hospitals Constituency Groups, New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA) Health Affairs Committee, ACHE-NJ Make-A- Wish, ACHE Career Mentor Program and Accreditation Committee, the American Cancer Society Leadership Council and the American Heart Association Executive Leadership Committees. Dr. DiLiegro is the recipient of a number of awards including: The ACHE – New Jersey Recognition Award, the Woman of Distinction Award and the Heart Champion Award from the American Heart Association, the New York City Society of Health-System Pharmacists Award of Merit and the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists Board of Directors Award and the 2015 ACHE Service Award.
