John began his career in the aviation industry with Eastern Airline in 1966 as a reservation agent in New York City. During his twenty-five year tenure, he had a history of promotions through increasingly responsible positions that led him to work at several airports throughout the States. John has worked at Kennedy, Miami, Atlanta on two different occasions and Daytona Beach.
In May of 1986, he became the Senior Director of Airport Services at Newark International Airport. Under his leadership, the operation at Newark was consistently ranked Number One in the Eastern Airlines system. John held this position until the demise of Eastern Airlines in January 1991.
After Eastern, John worked for a brief period with Oxford Airport Technical Services before assuming his current position as Executive Director of the Council For Airport Opportunity (CAO) New Jersey Programs.
